For example, Activate can import Simulink analysis models.

EDEM High-Performance Simulation Software
EDEM is a high-performance simulation software for bulk and granular material modeling, and is the flagship product developed by DEM Solutions. Based on the Discrete Element Method (DEM), EDEM can quickly and accurately simulate and analyze the behavior of discontinuous materials such as coal, ore, soil, fibers, grains, tablets, and powders. EDEM can import 3D shapes of particles. By calculating particle contact and impact forces and considering the effects of gravity, friction, and material cohesion, it realistically computes the motion behavior of material particles.
EDEM provides engineers with critical insight into how these materials interact with equipment under a wide range of operating and process conditions. It can be used as a standalone tool or coupled with other CAE tools.
