Blower Fluid–Structure Interaction | CFD Analysis
Apr.10,2024

For blowers operating at fixed or varying rotational speeds, the airflow rate at the outlet will differ. The airflow rate is a key indicator for evaluating blower efficiency. By using CFD analysis technology, the flow field generated by the rotating impeller blades can be simulated, allowing the outlet flow rate to be extracted. Before the actual prototype is manufactured, virtual experiments can be conducted on the computer to evaluate product performance early in the design phase. Additionally, with fluid–structure interaction (FSI) technology, the stress distribution on the blades can be calculated to understand the loading condition and determine whether the blade design strength is sufficient.
