 【 Background 】

       As the client, a domestic bicycle manufacturer, launched a new electric-assist bicycle, they required motor design evaluation. To simultaneously assess the motor’s electromagnetic performance, thermal behavior, and structural stress, Richin Technology provided a complete solution.

 

【 Results 】

       Using FluxMotor and Flux, Richin evaluated performance under various operating conditions and completed structural assessments. With HyperStudy optimization, torque ripple was reduced by 5% while meeting requirements for magnet usage, efficiency, and torque output—achieving a motor design that meets application needs.

  • Using FluxMotor to quickly conduct pre-analysis and compare various motor configurations, selecting the most promising designs. Detailed refinement and optimization were then performed using Flux, completing the initial motor design evaluation.

  • Through HyperStudy integrated with Flux, Hypermesh, and Optistruct, a multidisciplinary motor optimization workflow was established—simultaneously meeting electromagnetic performance, thermal, and structural strength requirements.
